Description
The chair with Cantilever design by Maarten Van Severen is the one he named .05. Designed in 2004 and edited by Vitra, like other designer furniture.
The first chair design without rear legs was born at the Bauhaus and since then an endless list of designers have contributed their peculiar vision of this seat model whose profile is reduced to a single, continuous and elegant line.
Maarten Van Severen is characterized by resolving his furniture in a simple and sober way, associating the design with the materials and structure that make it up.
Simple and pure lines, a polyurethane seat that envelops the steel structure, result in a tremendously comfortable chair. The quality of the .05 is revealed once you sit down.
This legless chair that starts on the ground and whose structure is twisted to give shape to the seat and back, has a stainless steel base that makes it suitable for outdoor use and is available in two finishes, as well as having a stackable option.
The shell, which has a padded effect and is available in three colors, is made of integral polyurethane foam. In addition, it has springs that give the backrest flexibility and cushion our movements, an ergonomic chair to which we must add the rocking effect of the cantilever base.
Its neat lines make it suitable for any space and also has the added plus of comfort.
