Description

We all know it and it continues to captivate us. That’s what design icons have, their simplicity, sophistication and timelessness captures us.

Eero Saarinen designed the Tulip Table in 1957 and it is part of the “pedestal” collection that the architect and designer created as a respond to the confusing and disturbing world of legs.

After five years of research and molding his models on a small scale, he concluded the design of the table whose original base was a cast aluminum structure molded, available in black and white.

As for the top, we currently have countless finishes: marbles in precious and luxurious tones, simple and elegant laminates in white or black or a warm oak wood.

The material, color and dimension are no excuse for this table, which works with any style.

There is no lover of design, who can afford it, who does not have it in his dining room. There is no magazine in the world of decoration that has not been the cover. Eero Saarinen designs are still innovative even today.

Father of modern design together with his friend Charles Eames, promoted furniture that adapts to human anatomy and whose versatility is unmatched.

As you know, you can select for this dining table, the chairs of the same collection, Tulip Chair, or combine it with some cantilever design. The ideal is to honor this artist and get a space in which the legs of tables and chairs do not disturb you, eliminating what he called “the poor neighborhood of legs”.

Edited by Knoll, it is one of the most copied pieces of furniture in history, but at first glance you will see that the original is the only and indisputable design whose curved lines have stability, elegance and neatness.

A design molded to be inimitable and unmistakable.
